How does it work?
You'll receive a name tag and scorecard. You'll meet 6 to 12 single professionals in less than 2 hours through a series of 6-minute "dates". On your scorecard, you decide who you'd like to know better and they do the same. We then send you an email with a list of participants who would like to have a date with you again! Odds are you'll have one or more matches. Then you can setup a second date by the weekend. Just that easy!
What should I talk about?
You'll see that once you start the event everything just flows. Relax and try not to be too serious, just have fun. Try to avoid questions like "what do you do" and "where are you from" as this can be repetitive. Don't talk about an ex, or focuse on yourself and what you do. Try to stand out and differentiate yourself from the others in a positive way. Tasteful humor and a light hearted demeanor go a long way. And if you are sitting across from someone you're not attracted to, please remember that they still have a story to tell.
What if I don't get any matches?
It can happen but over two-thirds of our participants have at least one person who would like to hear from them again (some get quite a few!) We have had some events with 100% of the participants have match results! If you're not completely sure, just say Yes anyway, because you never know! Give them another chance and they may surprise you.
And at the low cost of only $10, you can come to another event and meet a whole new group of people!
How long do I have to wait for the email of matches?
Most events get emails by Friday afternoon or 2-3 days after the event. If you do not receive an email within 3 days, email us because everyone should get an email, even if you did not get a match.
Can I sign up with a friend?
Absolutely! In fact we encourage it. Sign up with two or three! However, each person needs to register separately using their own email address, so that matches made from the event can be emailed to them directly and confidentially.
